Jarrod D. Benjamin, MBA serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the L.E.A.D. Firm.  He is responsible for curriculum development, leadership training, keynote events, and serves as an organization consultant for over 120 colleges and universities across the country.  Oversight training includes Higher Education Enrollment Management Consultation, Student Leadership, Greek Life, and Student Affairs Professional Team Building.  Mr. Benjamin is the founder and host of the Black and Multicultural Greek EMPOWERMENT! Summit – Atlanta Edition.

Mr. Benjamin has worked in numerous leadership roles at institutions of higher learning, and the United States Army in Miami Florida, Honolulu Hawaii, Fort Gordon Georgia, Germany, Korea, Brisbane Australia, and Wellington New Zealand. His diligence and compassion for his work has earned him the prestigious United States President’s Lifetime Award. He was also awarded one of Miami’s Top Black Educators of 2021 and was featured in The Miami Herald.  Jarrod D. Benjamin is a proud military veteran, with over 48 months of combat deployment experience in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His research, work, and expertise are centered around equitable, applicable, and relatable programming that builds well rounded student experience for student leaders and campus-based professionals.

Jarrod Benjamin has completed the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Title IX Coordinator certification. He served as the Title IX Coordinator for Florida Memorial University from 2018-2019. Through preventive education, he reduced the amount of reported sexual assault cases by 60%. He has provided co-curricular programming on consent, preventive education, and proper handling of sexual misconduct investigations. He currently serves as the International Sigma Leadership Academy Director, where he has been tasked to develop a full curriculum on sexual misconduct and prevention.

Mr. Benjamin is the Chairman and Director of the Sigma Leadership Academy. In this role, Jarrod develops the education framework and instructional design for over 200,000 members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.  Mr. Benjamin has validated his industry expertise by obtaining his Project Management Professional (PMP)®️ certification, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner certification, CompTIA Network + certification, CompTIA Security + certification, and Certified Information Security Manager certification. He has presented his cybersecurity research at the CompTIA Partner Summit. He developed and published the South Carolina Information Technology and Cybersecurity policy manual. He serves as adjunct professor for collegiate level cybersecurity courses at Florida International University.

A native of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Mr. Benjamin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida Memorial University and a Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Management from Nova Southeastern University.  Mr. Benjamin is currently a PhD student (Cohort 19) in the Urban Higher Education Program at Jackson State University.
