Just in case you’ve got some lingering questions about our process, we’ve taken the liberty of dropping some nuggets below. These are only a few of the common questions we’ve encountered over years of speaking engagements, workshops, and events. 

How does pricing work?

You can find pricing information available through the booking interface on our website. Our bookings usually entail some upfront pricing to help our speakers execute their own travel.

When we book a speaker, how much access should we expect on event day?

Access all depends on the speaker. Feel free to ask for additional presentations, just be aware that some speakers are better suited for multiple keynotes than others. Let us know in advance and we can find a person who suits your needs.

Who within my organization can actually place a booking?

LEAD Firm supports student leader initiated bookings as long as its supported by the university. If you have an advisor, check with them about your university’s guidelines prior to booking. Feel free to still inquire about your event as we may be able to help you find the right institutional representative.

Can we schedule receptions with our speaker prior, or after the event?

Our speakers want to spend as much time with you as possible. There are some cases where speakers have to drive or endure long flights, and in those cases we’d just need to know of your plans in advance. We will make all efforts to accommodate you in these situations.

When should we expect to hear from our booked speaker or facilitator? Can we reach out directly?

We instruct our speakers to reach out to your organization at least two weeks prior to your event. In most cases, our speakers will be in contact via email. If you haven’t received any communication from your speaker, please contact us immediately.

How can I join the Lead Firm Speaks team of speakers and facilitators?

We have an awesome affiliate program! Browse over to our Apply to Be a Speaker page for more info. We also have needs for campus-based professionals who may want to join our facilitator team for workshops. If this sounds like you, reach out via site or email bookings@leadfirmspeaks.com.

Why don't you post all-inclusive pricing on the website?

Our prices aren’t listed on our website because there are a number of factors that vary based on each contract. Our speakers have all-inclusive base prices for travel and hotel stay.In addition, other factors could affect your price, such as if a speaker is already near your institution.

Can we get discounted rates on your speakers or facilitators?

We encourage you to join our email list and follow us on social media to stay up to date with announcements about our speakers’ schedules. If you can line your event up with where your desired speaker will be, you will likely be eligible for a discount.  

How do I book a speaker for my event?

First, you’ll want to get in touch with one of the LEAD Firm booking team members. After a conversation about your event, we’ll have the details necessary to book your speaker. Knowing what you need ahead of time is a huge time saver! If you know that you need a Wednesday in December, for instance, for Jarrod Benjamin, we’ll help you get it booked! We’ll solidify a day, speaker, and topic, then take care of contracts. Typically, we need contract signatures returned no later than two weeks prior to your event. We are glad to help you complete any university riders as well. Our goal is to make the booking process as simple as possible for you. 

Do you have any promotional material we can use once we book our speaker?

Our promo material is available for download right here on our website. You can find photos, intros, promo flyers and more.

What about airline and hotel reservations?

Most times, you won’t need to worry about this! LEAD Firm takes care of our speakers’ travel and hotel reservations so you don’t have to. It helps us if you’re able to direct us towards the best “university rates” or accommodations, but ultimately we’ll work with your representatives leading up to your event to ensure that everything is smooth.
