Mr. Benjamin is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Strategist of the L.E.A.D. Firm. He is responsible for curriculum development, focused-group facilitation, leadership training, and keynote events and serves as an organization consultant for over 120 colleges and universities nationwide. Oversight training includes Higher Education Enrollment Management Consultation, First-Generation College Student Retention Strategy, Student Leadership, Greek Life, and Student Affairs Professional Team Building.  

Mr. Benjamin’s career has been marked by his unwavering dedication, serving in numerous leadership roles at institutions of higher learning, and the United States Army in Miami Florida, Honolulu Hawaii, Fort Gordon Georgia, Germany, Korea, Brisbane Australia, and Wellington New Zealand. His diligence and compassion for his work, which has earned him the prestigious United States President’s Lifetime Award, is truly inspiring. He was also awarded one of Miami’s Top Black Educators of 2021 and was featured in The Miami Herald.  Jarrod D. Benjamin is a proud military veteran with over 48 months of combat deployment experience in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His research, work, and expertise are centered around equitable, applicable, and relatable programming that builds well rounded student experience for student leaders and campus-based professionals.
 
Mr. Benjamin, a native of Natchitoches, Louisiana, is a testament to the power of education. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida Memorial University and a Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Management from Nova Southeastern University. Currently, he is a PhD candidate (Cohort 19) in the Urban Higher Education Program at Jackson State University, researching “The Measurement of Student Engagement Factors Among First-Year Student Success.” His academic achievements are truly impressive and reflect his commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Jarrod D. Benjamin is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, the National Association for Student Affairs Professionals, the Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values, the Association of Fraternity Advisors, and the National Black MBA Association.
