Jarrod D. Benjamin, Ph.D., is the LEAD Firm's Chief Executive Officer and Principal Strategist, a national consulting agency specializing in leadership development, curriculum design, and student empowerment. Dr. Benjamin’s expertise and dynamic approach have led him to partner with over 215 colleges and universities, three NBA franchises, six national fraternal organizations, nine nationally recognized non-profit organizations, and four Fortune 500 companies. His portfolio includes innovative leadership training, enrollment management consultation, and professional team-building for faculty, staff, and students.

Dr. Benjamin is also the Spelman College Principal Strategist, where he develops curriculum for the Coca-Cola First Generation College Student Scholars Program. A proud military veteran, he served over 48 months in combat deployments across Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan, earning the United States President’s Lifetime Award for his service.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida Memorial University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Benjamin is a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and several national professional associations. His doctoral dissertation at Jackson State University is titled “The Measurement of Student Engagement Factors Among First-Year Student Success,” reflecting his commitment to advancing equitable and effective student programming.
