Success is not based off of your specific gender. This program reinforces the fact that everyone has a role to play in forging a more gender-balanced world. The rise of women is not about the fall of men. Movements like #MeToo, #TimesUp and the significant global rise in International Women’s Day observations on campuses globally translate gender equality is firmly on the agenda! While on the agenda, the goal with this program is to acknowledge the significant contributions of women to society while stimulating student driven initiatives and way to challenge gender discrimination. Women have championed some of the toughest times of our generation. How will you serve as a change agent to ensure their impact is curated to be used a model for future leaders.
The main purpose of this comprehensive program is to heighten the awareness of the contributions that women have made globally to society. This program will highlight milestones of historic icons, will acknowledge that society has a need for more progress as it pertains to gender equality, and encourage all students and scholars to become advocates for gender equality in education, in the workforce, and in politics.
By participating in this program, students will develop a purpose that unifies tenacity and drives action for gender parity, while celebrating the social, cultural, economic and political achievements of women.

Jarrod D. Benjamin, MBA
Mr. Jarrod D. Benjamin is the Florida International University Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program Director and Adjunct Professor. He currently manages and develops curriculum embedded certifications for the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy. He serves as a subject matter expert on the $3 million dollar Intelligence Community-Center of Academic Excellence consortium grant. His work on this grant provides a career pipeline for students to receive career opportunity in the Intelligence Community. Jarrod specializes in various business related issues, anti-hazing, and urban development.
