Overview
Currently there are over 562 million users on the popular Professional Networking social media platform “LinkedIn”. Professionals, Job seekers, and even companies are using LinkedIn to sift through the thousands of applicants vying for potential employment. This presentation seeks to enlighten future job seekers on how to effectively leverage this platform to brand themselves to employers and professional development opportunities. The presenter will provide several examples of how to populate key fields of the user profile that stand out in the LinkedIn search algorithm. The presenter brings over 10 years of experience in communications and social media marketing and branding for higher education institutions, as well as extensive experience in establishing career pathways to aid in professional and workforce development.
